Refund policy

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before buying, as different rules apply to digital products and bespoke consultancy services.

1. Digital HR Templates — No Refund Policy

All digital products sold by Clarity HR Studio, including HR templates, contracts, letters, policies, and document bundles, are provided by instant digital download.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel a digital download within 14 days of purchase. However, this right to cancel is lost once you begin downloading or accessing the digital content, provided you have been clearly informed of this and have given your explicit consent at the point of purchase.

By completing your purchase of a digital product from Clarity HR Studio, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are requesting immediate access to the digital content.
You understand and accept that your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 will be lost once the download begins.

For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds on digital products once the download has been accessed. This is standard practice for digital content sellers and is in place to protect our intellectual property.

2. When We Will Help — Goodwill Exceptions

We want every customer to be satisfied. Although we cannot offer standard refunds on downloaded digital products, we will always try to help in the following situations:

Accidental purchase: if you purchased the wrong product and have not yet started the download, contact us immediately at hello@clarityhrstudio.co.uk and we will arrange an exchange or refund.
Duplicate purchase: if you have accidentally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate charge.
Technical issue: if a download link does not work, a file is corrupted, or you are unable to access what you have paid for, please contact us and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. This may include resending the file, providing an alternative download link, or providing a replacement.
Significantly not as described: if a product is materially different from its description on our website, please contact us within 14 days of purchase with details and we will review your case.

To request assistance with any of the above, please email hello@clarityhrstudio.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within one business day.

3. Free Resources

All free downloads provided by Clarity HR Studio are offered at no cost. No payment is taken and there is therefore nothing to refund in relation to free resources.

4. Bespoke HR Consultancy Services — Cancellation Policy

The following terms apply to paid HR advice sessions, consultancy engagements, and bespoke document drafting commissioned from Clarity HR Studio:

Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice:
A full refund will be issued, or you may choose to reschedule your session at no additional charge.

Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice:
50% of the session fee will be charged. The remaining 50% will be refunded, or you may reschedule at 50% of the standard rate.

No-show (failure to attend without prior notice):
The full session fee will be charged and no refund will be issued.

We understand that emergencies happen. If you have a genuine, unforeseen reason for a late cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible and we will consider your circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

5. Bespoke Work Already in Progress

Where we have already commenced bespoke document drafting or consultancy work at the time of cancellation, a charge proportionate to the work completed will apply, regardless of notice period. The amount will be discussed and agreed with you at the time of cancellation.

6. Statutory Rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have as a consumer under UK consumer protection law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
